Nevada consumers get another debt relief choice

Nevada debt relief

Nevada is known for slot machines, poker tables, and people running the risk of losing a lot of money at the blackjack tables. There were 16,067 slots in Nevada in 1960. In 1999 Nevada had 205,726 slot machines, that’s 1 machine for every 10 residents. It’s safe to say that some people living in Nevada could benefit from free consumer credit counseling and money management skills.

Advantage Credit Counseling Service has recently been licensed and approved in the state of Nevada to provide free credit counseling services and our wonderful debt management program. We’ve been working hard to become licensed in all 50 states before the end of this year. With only 3 more states to go, it looks like we may just reach our goal.

Dealing with Debt –

Consumers who are faced with debt and struggling to make ends meet will gain assistance from credit counseling. During a normal credit counseling session, you are asked to provide information about your income, assets, liabilities, and unsecured debts. Then, you’ll see your current household budget and you will probably spot areas where you can make some changes or cut-backs to free up some money. You’ll be provided with a personalized Action Plan that will contain helpful links, resources, tools, and educational material to show you how to properly manage money and ultimately save some money.

Debt Management Program –

Once you have received your budget and custom Action Plan, you’ll be notified about whether or not you are a good candidate for our Debt Management Program (DMP). If the answer is yes, you will then receive the next steps and more information about our DMP. One of our certified credit counselors will contact you and discuss the details of the plan with you and some other options you may have to reduce your debt.

What Can Trigger Debt Problems? –

Gambling is just one reason people can fall into debt. There is a list of other reasons including divorce, student loans, death in the family, health issues, over spending, and so on. Whatever the reason may be, anyone can benefit from a free consumer credit counseling session. It’s best to know what ALL of your options are before trying to tackle your debt alone.

If you need help with debt relief in Nevada or any of the other 46 states we are licensed in, give us a call today. The call is absolutely free and there are no obligations. We are a non-profit credit counseling agency that’s here to help you get your finances back on track and take control of your life again. Call us toll-free at 866-699-2227!
