Advantage CCS Teams Up with CardRates.com to Talk About Free Consumer Credit Counseling

Advantage CCS Teams Up with CardRates.com to Talk About Free Consumer Credit Counseling

Our very own Heather Murray, Manager of Regulatory Compliance and Education, recently spoke with Ashley Dull who is the Editor-in-Chief at www.CardRates.com about our holistic approach to tackling credit card debt and what our free consumer credit counseling can do to help people who are struggling with unsecured debt such as credit cards and medical bills.

Ashley reached out to us for information about an article they wanted to feature on their website. The article starts out with some super scary statistics about current consumer debt. Did you know that American consumers owe trillions of dollars in combined credit card, auto, medical, and other loan debt? It’s shockingly true! Check out this recent study from Comet: https://www.cometfi.com/details-of-debt

There are so many people living paycheck to paycheck, and their debts can quickly spiral out of control and become a burden that is far too heavy to bear. That’s where Advantage Credit Counseling Service comes in. We’ve been assisting people with their unsecured debt for over 50 years now (since June 1968). With our free consumer credit counseling services and our excellent Debt Management Program, we have helped thousands of consumers better their financial situation. This year, for our big 50th business anniversary, we hope to help even more consumers become financially strong. So, it was really a “no-brainer” when CardRates.com reached out to us and asked us if we’d like to team up with them on an article about a holistic, non-judgmental approach to tackling consumer credit card debt. We jumped at the chance!

The article goes into great detail about Advantage CCS’s history and how we’ve been helping so many people over the past 50 years. There’s a great video in the article that showcases some of the wonderful services we provide such as credit counseling, bankruptcy counseling, and housing counseling to name just a few. It also talks about our Debt Management Program (DMP) in-depth and who might be a good candidate for a DMP.  The article also discusses our intelligent decision-based online credit counseling system that’s the first of its kind and the best in the industry.

Budgeting is also another big topic that’s addressed in the article. It ALL starts with budgeting, and the article gives some great tips and advice on how to start a budget and why it’s so important to have a realistic household budget.

Advantage is super excited to be able to share some brilliant advice and tips with CardRates.com to try and reach more consumers and let them know that there’s free help out there and also that they are NOT alone. We’ve helped thousands of people from all walks of life get out of debt, and we can help you too!
