Thousands of Pennsylvanians are struggling with their budgets and are in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure. Those residents don’t have to face foreclosure without help. There is free housing counseling available from Advantage Credit Counseling Service.

Advantage CCS has a team of certified housing counselors available to help Pennsylvania residents who have already received a notice of foreclosure or who are concerned that they may fall behind on their mortgage payments. Advantage is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-approved housing counseling agency.

There are numerous programs in place to help homeowners who are falling behind on their mortgage payments or who have received a foreclosure notice. Some programs are offered through the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency, while other avenues are available by dealing directly with lenders.
