PITTSBURGH PA – August 15,2005 – Giant Ideas newest advertising campaign for client Consumer Credit Counseling Services/Advantage Credit Counseling Services has made the home page for two of the industries top destinations for creative advertising - AdForum and Agency Preview.  Both sites are powered by international and well-respected companies, MayDream and Advertising Age respectively.

 

The television portion of the campaign will be featured on both home-pages for the next two weeks, one spot this week and another next week.  The campaign, which broke only two weeks ago, has already generated significant results for CCCS/Advantage.  The Giant client has experienced an increase in both calls and website inquiries regarding their services in that two week period.  The campaign, which includes Radio and other support, is scheduled to run through the end of November 2005.

Ward, CEO and Executive Creative Director at Giant Ideas, "the category for credit services is extremely crowded and we worked hard to develop a campaign that would cut through the clutter and grab the attention of the target audience.  It is always gratifying to watch great advertising work."

The campaign was developed around the personification of debt as a "Debt Monkey" that lives on debtors backs and influences their decisions.  "Using humor is a memorable way to discuss a topic that is generally seen as somewhat 'taboo' and is usually dealt with in a very dry, factual way." Mr. Ward said, "All of our competitors are already doing that and we felt strongly that this approach would be extremely effective."

The campaign is designed to be extensible into the future and CCCS has already begun the process of trademarking the Debt Monkey to use in other areas.
