In-Person Pre Discharge Bankruptcy Class

The in-person bankruptcy education class offered by Advantage Credit Counseling allows you to complete the bankruptcy education requirements in a classroom setting with an experienced instructor.

This is a two-hour class that Advantage offers in its Pennsylvania service areas. See below for the current class schedules and locations.

Since there is a deadline in which you must take the class, it is recommended that you register as soon as possible.

At the conclusion of the class, the instructor will issue you a certificate of completion. Note: You are responsible for providing a copy of the certificate to your attorney.

To register for the in-person class:

Print the required class registration packet or call toll-free 866-430-2227 to request a registration packet. You must have a valid driver’s license, state-issued photo ID, military ID, employer issued photo ID, student ID or passport to register for the in-person class.

Complete the registration form.

You must include your bankruptcy case number.

Return the completed registration packet with payment and a photocopy of a valid ID.

Once Advantage receives your completed paperwork and payment, Advantage will send you a letter confirming your registration one week prior to the class date.

If the class you choose is full, an Advantage representative will contact you so that you may choose another class date.
Note: On the day of the class, you are required to show a valid photo ID at sign-in. Advantage cannot issue a certificate without proper photo ID.
